...pls make sure you don't say.... แนบ เจ็บ ใจ (nearness hurts the heart) !!!
because juxtapose is a noun I'm changing it to khaawm naaep jap jai....or should it be gaan naaep jap jai ??
Sorry, I don't understand that why have to แนบ?
แนบ mean closeness / nearby...need to have this if we are to accurately translate the concept of juxtapose
btw...juxtapose means...closeby but for dramatic opposing effect...like putting something new next to something old...like an old photo of a child next to his more recent photo as an adult...it evokes an emotive feeling and creates interest in the viewer
to juxtapose เช่น วางแอปเปิ้ลสองลูกข้างๆกันเพื่อเปรียบเทียบ
http://dictionary.cambridge.org/diction ... /juxtapose NECTEC’s Lexitron-2 Dictionary translates “juxtapose” as นำมาวางข้างๆ กันเพื่อเปรียบเทียบ
but guys...there is not emotive response element is those words...juxtapose does not mean compare only...I'm not gonna fight city hall if the likes of cambridge univ are involved but my new word Khaawm naaep jap jai is better !!
